Our international team spent a full day with fullCIRCLE prior to two weeks of intense corporate meetings focused on multiple product launches.
The way we showed up, interacted with each other and the positive results we experienced during those two weeks were directly correlated with our experience at fullCIRCLE.
For anyone wanting to move forward, engaging with fullCIRCLE prior to strategy sessions will transform your outcome.
Tom Brandau, Vice President of Fisher Instrument Business Unit at Emerson Automation Solutions
fullCIRCLE’s experiential approach to professional development is profound! It captures what hundreds of leadership books, articles and workshops attempt to convey.
Interacting with horses successfully requires observing, listening, getting beyond our comfort zone, stepping away from ego, embracing a growth mindset and a willingness to be authentic and vulnerable – characteristics of an effective leader.
Long-term behavior changes related to leadership, management and teamwork result from experiencing the do-reflect-apply model embodied at fullCIRCLE.
Carol Heaverlo, Ph.D., Independent Researcher
Carol Heaverlo, Ph.D., independent researcher inquired, “After opening yourself up to being vulnerable, describe how it feels to interact with your colleagues.” One participant shared, “It feels quite different. I’m learning to break down the protective walls I’ve put around myself and be more authentic. I’m interacting better with my co-workers. I’m taking more time. I’m being more personal. It’s not that I wasn’t personal before, the motivation was different than it is now. I’m constantly aware of the human connection and being present in conversations.”
When asked by Carol Heaverlo, Ph.D., independent researcher, “How did working with the horses influence the way you think about leading, both from the perspective of leading self and how that influences leading others?” One participant shared, “The horses are so deep. They didn’t say a word and they spoke so loudly to so many people. I saw people moved to tears.”

That half-day experience was so life-changing.
I believe it was impactful because we worked with animals and it showed me something in myself that I probably would not accept from people.
It truly changed things by helping me to see things within myself.

Most influencers excel technically and assume that transfers to their ability to build relationships; that’s definitely not the case!
This fresh approach to professional development reminded me that being vulnerable helps deepen my understanding of the dynamics in connecting with others.

It was more impactful than I imagined!
The learning from each human-horse activity was relatable to business and relationships.
Much of what our leadership team makes complex was simplified through learning alongside the horses.
It brought our leadership team together and unified us in a way that led to breakthroughs.

The learning I’m taking away from this experience is around how I show up.
Do I invite or do I push away?
Russell Jensen, President, Jensen Consulting
This refreshing approach to leadership formation helped me discover how the combination of hands-on learning and observation results in elevated participant engagement and long-lasting discoveries.
I learned more about my leadership from the experiential activities with the horses than I have from countless hours listening to conference presenters. Through observation, I gained front-row insight into others’ leadership.
